Paula graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and a minor in Sociology. She enjoyed a career in television and radio as a news reporter/anchor for ABC, NBC and CBS affiliate TV stations including KMIR in the desert. She also worked for NPR (National Public Radio).

Paula transitioned into advertising/marketing by working for the Director of Marketing at Marriott’s Desert Springs Resort & Spa. For five years she handled graphic design projects for all of the restaurants, spa, golf, tennis, sales, catering and human resources. She also managed the resort’s Business Center.

A relocation to the Twin Cities brought Paula to assume the responsibilities of Manager of Communications & Graphic Design for a prosperous property management company. This was followed by the formation of her own graphic design and communications business, which she successfully enjoyed for seven years.

Paula now contributes her creativity, experience in journalism, graphic design and sales to IMC.

Paula has always enjoyed becoming involved in communities by volunteering in any way she can. In her free time, she enjoys photography, nature, sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
