Parris, a Palm Desert native, graduated magnum cum laude from San Diego State University in 2004, earning herself a Bachelor's in Integrated Marketing Communications. Throughout college, Parris tested the waters of her major, taking a marketing position in a small financial investment firm as well as a sales position in the fitness industry. She found in these positions that she loved an emerging trend in marketing called client-relationship based marketing, a concept built upon going above and beyond meeting a client's needs and wants to create not only a business relationship, but a friendship as well.

Shortly after college, Parris joined on board with a non-profit humanitarian organization in San Diego. As Director of Relations, Parris was the primary source of contact for the organization, communicating with numerous churches, universities, and other NGOs. It was also in San Diego that Parris met the man who would soon be her husband. As luck would have it, he was a native of the Coachella Valley as well, and soon the couple was living back in their beautiful desert.

When Parris returned to the desert, she began working with a non-profit organization aiding in the design of their website and their marketing needs. She found the artist in her rejoice in this work and discovered a new passion in the creative side of marketing. With her new position as Project Coordinator at Image Marketing Concepts, Parris is able to take advantage of both her passions in marketing, building relationships with her clients and using her creative eye for design. She works excited about what is to come of her future here.
